just thoughts...

Been thinking about the Ugandan situation and just how the editor of Rolling Stones magazine chose to defend himself...(the nerve of this man when he spoke to the reporter)...asked if he thought if homosexuals should be hanged,he said they are an evil in society that should be dealt with...is that really how a sane human being would think?
it turns out that religious leaders are in the fore front for the fight against homosexuality almost everywhere,and Uganda is no exception...This is for the religious leaders that are asking for the condemnation of homosexuals,what happened to the teachings of Christ?LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOU LOVE YOURSELF???you would think,considering how fast they are at quoting scripture,they would atleast remember,LET HE WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE...and if that is not bad enough,they want to be judge,jury and executioner...
This is a question to all of mankind...and especially my 'heterosexual' brothers and sisters in Uganda,God does not need anyone to fight his battles,you did not grant life to anyone so what and who gives you the authority to take away life in God's name????No sin before God's eyes goes unpunished so why not just wait for God himself to punish???And have you sat down and considered that in killing anyone regardless of whether they have sinned or not you are in yourself sinning???Considering all the arguments against my homosexual family in Uganda are based on Bible teachings,i think its time the Bible was read in completion and not selectively...

Another issue i have with the editor,you said that the homosexuals are invading schools???to convert 'our' children???are you serious????are you aware that most teenagers who discover their sexuality in boarding schools have it rough???my gay brothers can attest to that factor!dont lay blame where it is not due...My suggestion to parents,BRING UP YOUR KIDS THE WAY YOU DEEM IS BEST.DO NOT TEACH THEM TO HATE OR DISCRIMINATE,TALK TO THEM ABOUT SEX AND SEXUALITY AND WHEN THEY MAKE THEIR CHOICES,LET THEM BE BECAUSE YOU DID THE BEST YOU COULD!!!if you as a parent do not trust your child to make the best choices for themselves,turn to God and maybe he will help!!!

And last but not least...My Gay,Lesbian,Bisexual,Transgender and Intersex  friends and family in Uganda,my novenas,prayers and supplications to God are for your safety and deliverance from the hands of people who want to destroy you.This is a passing cloud and you get through it.you are in our hearts and constantly on our minds.we love you and will do all that is possible to lighten the burden.
