a walk

lets take a walk down memory lane and try to remember where we went wrong...
we started by toasting to another year and and all around were laughs...
the three of us once again and the shit we had all been through...
there we sat and caught up on each others lives as though time had not gone by...
she called to say she was coming and we got all excited...
then we were four and the joy was more but was it really?...
we bitched like we hadn't had a chance to for a very long time...
and said things in confidence of each other...
we swore and cussed about all the shit that had gone down...
we made promises that we knew we would break even as we made them...
and when the first of us fell,we knew we would all crumble...
to be honest,i wish we had been honest from the start...
to think of it,it would have taken us less time and effort to get to where we are...
in this i would have loved to call you all by name but i dare not...
but i will say this...
at least now,we are where we always wanted to be!!!
